Job Summary
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and evolving technology infrastructure, including platform design, development, and system monitoring. Key responsibilities include driving improvements in processes and adopting new technologies, implementing automation solutions, exhibiting ownership of squad deliverables, providing mentorship, and engaging with non-technical stakeholders. You should possess strong knowledge of platform engineering principles and experience with AWS and high-load applications.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of using the supported products in a production environment
- Vast experience with managing high-load, high-performance applications
- CDK, Kubernetes/Docker, Networking
- Git, Jenkins (or similar CI system)
- Configuration Management (Chef, Ansible)
- General Linux operations.
- Infrastructure Specific Products (Virtualization, Storage technologies, Hardware appliances)
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Platform Engineering Principles
- Aptitude for evaluating and embracing new technologies and tooling
- Strong AWS experience supporting cloud native infrastructure through tooling and automation
