Join Charlie Health as a Senior Platform Engineer to design and maintain core services, cloud infrastructure, and automation frameworks. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in engineering roles, strong AWS and programming skills, and a commitment to impactful mental health care solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a Platform, DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering role
- 2+ years of experience writing production-level backend code
- 2+ years of expertise with AWS services
- Proficiency with tools like Python, Golang, or Typescript
- Strong proficiency in Terraform/OpenTofu for infrastructure as code
- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
- Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools
- Experience with observability, monitoring, and logging tools
- Proven track record of breaking down large problems
- Passion for automation, scalability, and building secure systems
- Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
- Hands-on experience participating in an on-call rotation
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with large cloud or monolith to microservices migrations
- Solid experience with Linux system administration, networking, and security best practices
- Familiarity with AI-enabled developer productivity tooling
- Background in SDET, QA, or Performance Testing
Additional Requirements
- Candidates located within 75 minutes commuting distance of our NYC office are expected to come to the office 4 days/week
- Members of this team who live within 45 minutes of a Charlie Health office are expected to adhere to a hybrid work schedule.
