Job Summary
Evolve delivery mechanics by enhancing CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and internal developer tooling while building automation in Python and Java. Integrate security controls such as image scanning and secret management directly into developer workflows and support platform operations through incident triage and RFC translation. Guide Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, and Release Automation efforts to enable microservices to ship safely at scale within the PMSO team. Operate with high technical autonomy to shape future multi-DSO scaling models and ensure telemetry capabilities for reliable grid operations.
Required Qualifications
- Already living in the Netherlands
- Proficient in the use of the English language on C1 level
- 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, SRE, Release Engineering, or a similar role within a complex enterprise, critical infrastructure, or regulated environment
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes, GitOps, and cloud-native platforms
- Hands-on experience in Helm, ArgoCD, AWS, Terraform, and deployment patterns such as App-of-Apps
- Proven experience designing, modernizing, and operating CI/CD ecosystems, including pipeline-as-code (e.g. GitHub Actions), release management, semantic versioning, automation, and self-service developer platforms
- Solid software engineering and automation skills, including Python and/or Java, Infrastructure as Code, API integrations, security automation, secret management, image scanning, and application troubleshooting
- Strong DevOps mindset focused on security, reliability, and developer experience, with experience in DevSecOps, observability, monitoring, and cross-team collaboration
Desired Qualifications
- No use of the Dutch language is required but it is preferred
