Senior Platform Architect

Job Summary
Senior Platform Architect leads the design and continuous evolution of the TradeWindow platform architecture, establishing governance and a scalable integration layer to support reusable workflows, embedded AI, and converged products. Owns end-to-end platform architecture, drives monetisation and billing strategy, and collaborates with SLT, Product Owners, and engineering teams to align technical decisions with operational and commercial priorities. Mentors development teams, emphasizes reuse over duplication, and ensures secure, maintainable, and scalable systems while balancing near-term revenue protection with long-term platform vision. Requires 8+ years of software-architecture experience, proven SaaS and microservices background, API-led design expertise, and strong stakeholder communication; domain familiarity with logistics or freight-forwarding is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
- 8+ years of experience in software architecture
- Experience designing and delivering modern SaaS platforms, including microservices architectures, API-led designs, event-driven systems, and scalable integration layers
- Demonstrated success leading platform modernisation and product consolidation initiatives
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desired Qualifications
