Job Summary
Senior Platform Architect to lead architectural design, modernization, and governance of large-scale, multi-tenant enterprise SaaS platforms built on Azure and the .NET stack. Responsibilities include migrating monoliths to modular monoliths and microservices, designing multi-tenant isolation and elastic scaling, setting architectural standards for .NET, TypeScript, Angular, SQL Server, and Azure; implementing distributed systems with API gateways, IoT, event sourcing, CQRS; ensuring cloud-native resiliency, telemetry, and observability; developing architecture docs and decision records; establishing platform SLOs and performance tuning; building CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies, and IaC for cloud provisioning; enforcing SSDLC and security controls; driving governance in line with TOGAF/Zachman/C4; mentoring teams and collaborating across Data/DevOps/Product management; evaluating AI/ML integrations and developer tooling; delivering reduced incidents, faster deployments, improved MTTR, and enhanced platform observability within first year.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years in software/platform engineering
- At least 8 years in platform architecture for enterprise SaaS on Azure and .NET stack
- Proven experience delivering large-scale, multi-tenant SaaS platforms for global consumer-facing products
- Deep expertise in .NET (C#), Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, SQL Server), Azure Open AI, Microsoft Agent Framework
- TypeScript, Angular, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability
- Mastery of distributed systems, cloud-native patterns, event-driven architectures, and microservices
- Experience with architectural frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, C4 Model)
- Architectural governance and compliance experience
- Strong understanding of platform security, regulatory compliance, and multi-tenant SaaS challenges
- Mentoring and technical leadership experience
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, automated testing tools, and modern DevOps practices
