Senior Plant Quality Manager

Job Summary
Lead and maintain compliance with the ISO 13485 Quality Management System across two manufacturing facilities, ensuring continued certification and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Provide oversight for the Quality Departments, develop testing and reporting systems, and serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues, leading investigations and corrective actions. Champion Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to improve quality and operational efficiency while managing quality specifications, internal audit programs, and training across all shifts. Analyze quality data to identify trends and implement preventive actions. This onsite position is located at the Huntley, IL Facility and reports directly to the Director of Quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Quality, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience leading the development and maintenance of a Quality Management System and quality testing/reporting processes within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with quality management systems, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and all levels of the organization
Desired Qualifications
- ISO 13485 experience
- Six Sigma understanding of DMAIC methodology
- Experience with OQ/PQ, SPC, and statistical analysis
- Experience conducting internal and external quality audits
