Senior Plant Financial Analyst

Job Summary
Review financial statements, track KPIs, and prepare detailed reports to assess company performance and support strategic decisions. Participate in the annual budgeting process, five-year business plan, and regular financial forecasts by collaborating with various department heads. Maintain and distribute reporting records of operational expenses and inventories, reconcile intercompany transactions, and prepare account reconciliations monthly with supporting documentation for Plant Controller review. Support month-end closing activities, including journal entries and analysis, while ensuring financial reporting complies with accounting standards and government regulations. Serve as reporting unit liaison with the central PTP team to resolve invoice and payment issues and act as proxy to Assistant Controller. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics required with 5-9 years of accounting experience and 1-3 years in the automotive industry. Must be willing to work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants, and adhere to all IOS, EHS, and Product Safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Level Degree
- Area of Study: Business Administration, Finance/ Controlling (Accounting, Finance, Controlling, etc.), Economics or similar
- 5-9 Minimum Years of Experience with accounting, finance and/or other related areas
- 1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry
- Must be able and willing to work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces
- Problem-Solving and Strategic Thinking: Capacity to evaluate business scenarios, assess risks, and propose solutions aligned with company objectives
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel Intermediate (lookup, pivot, etc., PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and able to relay technical accounting information to cross functional team members not working in Finance and Accounting roles
- Internally motivated to investigate and solve issues
- International Operating System (IOS): Understand, apply and meet all function related IOS requirements
- Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS): Understand, apply and meet all function related EHS requirements
- Product Safety: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Product Safety requirements
- Compliance: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Compliance requirements
- Information Security: Understand, apply and meet all function-related IT / Information Security and confidentiality of YFAI information requirements
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures
- Employee must have the ability to work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time
- Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels
- Maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment
- Personal protective equipment is required
- Often exposed to distracting sounds and noisy conditions
- May frequent manufacturing plants and must follow all rules while visiting locations
