Senior Plant Financial Analyst

Job Summary
Evaluate program profitability through pricing and BOM reviews, maintain accurate intercompany accounting and inventory records, and prepare month-end journal entries with closing reconciliations. Monitor departmental spending against budget, assist with capitalizing CIP assets, and support variance analysis and forecast development. Execute physical and fixed asset inventories while ensuring compliance with Quality, EHS, and Information Security requirements. Timely report key financial information for the business unit and respond to external requests. Must be able to work additional hours or overtime as needed. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance with 5-7 years of experience in an industrial or automotive company. Ability to travel is required.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 Minimum Years of Experience in an industrial company, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Must be able and willing to travel.
- Bachelor's Level Degree
- Area of Study: Business Administration, Financial/Controlling (Accounting, Finance, Controlling, etc.), or similar.
- English (Fluency with Reading, Writing, Speaking)
- Ability to work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time.
- Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels.
- Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote).
- Must follow all rules while visiting locations.
- Personal protective equipment is required.
Desired Qualifications
- QAD or similar ERP knowledge.
- MS Office including intermediate to advanced concepts in Excel.
- HFM / Hyperion / Smartview experience.
- Cost Accounting awareness.
- Works well with diverse groups of team members.
- Communicates assertively and on time.
- Internally motivated / interest in eventually advancing to leadership roles.
