Job Summary
Senior Planning & Performance Manager responsible for leading the end-to-end retail planning and performance framework across retail operations, ensuring strategy translates to clear, deliverable plans and measurable performance. Acts as a trusted advisor to executives, delivering insights, forecasts, and performance leadership to improve customer experience, productivity, and cost of doing business across banners. Responsibilities include embedding KPIs, scorecards, targets, and review rhythms; delivering high-quality performance insights for executive decision-making; analyzing performance to identify opportunities; partnering with senior stakeholders to translate strategy into practical operational outcomes; ensuring initiatives are realistically planned and achievable within store environments; building strong relationships with store operators and cross-functional leaders; championing accountability and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in planning, performance, commercial analytics, or operational optimisation in large-scale or multi-site environments
- Experience operating at senior manager level, influencing executives and cross-functional leaders
- Deep understanding of retail operations, store economics, and performance drivers
- Proven experience designing and embedding performance frameworks that drive measurable outcomes
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to engage both senior leaders and store teams
- Strong execution discipline and the ability to prioritise and deliver in fast-paced environments
- High credibility, emotional intelligence, and confidence working at executive level
