Senior Planning Engineer

Job Summary
Establish, monitor, and enhance planning effectiveness across Manufacturing and Service departments by ensuring structured planning, accurate reporting, and performance tracking. Develop clear, realistic, data-driven plans for production, maintenance schedules, and resource allocation while facilitating alignment between departments on assumptions and constraints. Standardize planning templates, tools, and methodologies across teams. Track plan versus actual performance against KPIs including production adherence, maintenance scheduling, utilization, and delivery, identifying gaps and escalating critical risks. Enforce timely submission of monthly reports, review them for accuracy and completeness, and consolidate data into a management-level performance dashboard. Analyze inefficiencies such as production delays and low utilization to propose actionable improvements and drive implementation of planning tools, standard cycles, and forecasting methods.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 10-15 years' experience in production planning / maintenance planning / operations control
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in both manufacturing and service environments is highly preferred
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Excel / ERP / planning tools knowledge
- KPI design and performance tracking
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis
- High attention to detail and discipline enforcement
