Job Summary
Conduct in-depth client interviews to gather personal financial data and formulate planning goals. Develop comprehensive financial plans covering investment strategy, tax, retirement, estate, and education funding. Assist clients with plan implementation and participate in meetings to support the primary relationship manager. Review investment allocation trading reports and research financial planning strategies and tax law changes. Collaborate with the client service team to monitor activities and assist with onboarding new wealth management staff. This hybrid role requires three days in the Charlotte, NC office, with occasional travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5 years of financial planning experience, or other related financial services industry experience
- FINRA Series 65 Certification or other qualified credential, or the ability to obtain within 12 months of hire
- CFP certification, or education completed in order to sit for test
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Highly proficient in financial planning software and computer software, including the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Actively engages as a team member
- Adaptability and flexibility
- Client first attitude
- Occasional travel may be required
- 3 days required in office
