Job Summary
Senior Planner with SC clearance needed to develop robust schedule estimates for construction works using Primavera P6, define Basis of Estimate for schedule scope, and ensure alignment with Cost and Risk Management teams. Responsibilities include integrating with procurement interfaces, compared against benchmark data and design information (BIM), and ensuring stakeholder buy-in to the Programme’s construction schedule. Requires experience in construction/infrastructure, strong scheduling expertise, NEC/FIDIC familiarity, and excellent communication/presentation skills; hybrid role with 2 days on-site in Glasgow and involvement across the UK. Desirable: degree or equivalent in construction, engineering, project management, or related field; membership in professional bodies; experience with Power BI and analytics.
Required Qualifications
- Prior SC clearance is required
- Experience in a construction or infrastructure environment
- Solid scheduling expertise, including Primavera P6
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of schedule hierarchy, integration, and change control
- Familiarity with NEC or FIDIC contracts
- Strong communication and presentation skills
