Senior Planner

Master Planner / Buyer responsible for end-to-end master planning, scheduling, and purchasing of production materials. This role performs forward-looking demand analysis against backlog, sales forecast, and historical consumption to ensure optimal inventory levels and on-time material availability. Collaborates cross-functionally with Production, Sales, Engineering, Quality, and corporate purchasing to support uninterrupted production, leverage bulk purchasing, and drive continuous improvement. Key duties include translating the master plan into a Master Production Schedule (MPS) and detailed material plans, issuing purchase orders in line with MRP signals, leading supplier negotiations, maintaining vendor scorecards, and driving CAPA when performance targets are missed. Requires Oracle ERP proficiency, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage inventory turns, PPV, and OTDP. The role involves Travel up to 10% to supplier sites and the Milpitas corporate office, and is primarily office-based with some manufacturing-floor interaction.
