Job Summary
Senior Planner, NYGCCC Project Controls supporting NY Gas Complex capital construction by developing and maintaining integrated Primavera P6 schedules aligned with WBS, analyzing schedule performance, and integrating schedule with cost data for forecasting and earned value tracking.Responsibilities include baseline updates, critical path and milestone analysis, reviewing contractor schedules, producing KPI dashboards and monthly performance summaries, and collaborating with stakeholders to identify risks, issues, and opportunities. Requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Construction Management or related field and 3–5 years (or 6–10 years) of Project Controls experience; proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Office; ability to work a hybrid schedule in NY; valid driver’s license. Salary ranges: Upstate NY (Syracuse) $97,000–$114,000; Downstate NY (Melville) $117,000–$137,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project/Construction Management, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in Project Controls Reporting/Scheduling/Analytics or 6–10 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Primavera P6
- Strong knowledge of schedule development, critical path and float analysis, earned value methodologies, and contractor schedule/claim evaluation
- Experience in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work in a hybrid schedule
