Job Summary
Perform pipe stress analysis of systems in accordance with ASME B31.3 or B31.3 Code. Model piping systems using Bentley AutoPipe to verify flexibility, stability, and equipment nozzle loads. Review isometrics based on span tables and check work done by others. Collaborate with layout personnel and pipe support engineers to deliver quality, cost-effective designs. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required. May assume certain lead responsibilities. Requires U.S. citizenship and 5-8 years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 5-8 years of experience
- 9-12 years of relevant work experience
- U.S. Citizenship
- Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check which includes verification of employment and education
- Knowledgeable of ASME B31.3 and/or B31.1 other relevant industry piping codes and standards
- Prior experience using a computer pipe stress analysis program
