Job Summary
Deliver direct patient care to 1 to 2 patients per hour, implementing customized rehabilitation plans that utilize evidence-based techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain. Continuously monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies based on individual responses, while educating families on exercise programs and lifestyle modifications. Maintain meticulous records in WebPT and actively participate in team meetings to share insights and foster collaborative care. This onsite home care role serves pediatric and adult patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain within a small, dedicated team environment.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Possession of an active California Physical Therapy license or the ability to secure one before commencing work
- Strong clinical reasoning skills
- Hands-on physical therapy experience in an outpatient or home care setting
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage patients effectively throughout their rehabilitation journey
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctorate degree
- Familiarity with WebPT or other electronic medical record systems
- A solid understanding of contemporary rehabilitation methodologies and patient care best practices
