Senior Physical Security Specialist

Job Summary
Oversee enterprise physical security operations, risk management, and program execution while providing strategic guidance and executive protection for senior leaders. Respond to critical incidents and emergencies, conducting threat and violence risk assessments to recommend mitigation strategies. Manage physical security technologies, access control systems, and SOC activities, including incident monitoring and response coordination. Supervise contract security vendors and guard services to ensure compliance, while developing policies, procedures, and training programs. Coordinate with law enforcement and external agencies for investigations and protective operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Administration, Homeland Security, Emergency Management, or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in law enforcement, federal law enforcement, military police/security forces, executive protection, or other protective services assignments involving threat assessment, incident response, and personnel protection
- Equivalent combination of education and experience to the above requirements
- On-site role (5 days/week in office)
- Candidates must reside within commutable distance of Portland, OR or Renton, WA office
- Advanced analytical thinking, critical decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced verbal and written communication, collaboration, relationship-building, and executive presence
- Advanced capability in risk assessment, threat management, executive protection, emergency response, and incident command
- Advanced knowledge of physical security technologies, systems administration, governance, and program development
- Ability to coach, mentor, and guide security personnel, vendors, and stakeholders
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations and training programs
- Ability to perform effectively in dynamic, high-pressure, and sensitive environments involving senior leadership and critical incidents
- Demonstrated practical judgment, discretion, and service orientation supporting safety and business continuity
- Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making in professional settings
- Travel may be required, either locally or out of state
- May be required to work outside of normal business hours
- Access to a personal mobile device to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) upon joining the company
- MFA is required for all employees

Desired Qualifications
- Preferred certifications include CPP, PSP, APP, executive protection certification, and CPR/AED and First Aid certification
