Job Summary
Monitor the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system, access control system, security records, and key control while managing ID/access badge issuance and conducting roving patrol inspections of internal and external facility areas. Respond to and resolve event alarms triggered on the console, evaluate procedural breaches, and notify proper authorities of any findings. Maintain security records, perform equipment dispatch and electronic inventory accountability, and complete daily activity reports and historical log book reviews. Conduct fire safety inspections and keep the Security Management Team informed of all site matters.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with other Security and Facility personnel, both verbally and in the written form
- Must be vigilant, reporting any security issues or incidents
- Knowledge of filing and phone courtesy
- Ability to use personal computer including, but not limited to, a basic level of the following: Typing, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
- Must be able to work from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Saturday - Wednesday with occasional overtime
- Must be able to travel and perform other related duties and functions as assigned by management
