Job Summary
Senior Physical Design Engineer responsible for partition ownership from synthesis to CTS, routing, and sign-off; develop PPA optimization strategies, automate design tasks with Tcl/Python, and drive independent convergence of complex partitions from RTL to GDSII while collaborating with RTL/DFT teams to optimize routing and timing. 4–7 years of experience in physical design, with 2–3 successful tape-outs; proficiency with Cadence Innovus/Tempus; strong skills in Tcl and Python; focus on block-level RTL-to-GDSII and PPA optimization; located in Bangalore with a hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- 4–7 Years experience in Physical Design
- 2–3 successful tape-outs
- Synthesis and Floor-planning through CTS, Routing, and Sign-off
- Tool Mastery with Cadence Innovus/Tempus
- Automation proficiency in Tcl and Python
- PPA Skills to analyze timing, power, and area
- STA (Static Timing Analysis), EM/IR, DRC/LVS/ERC
- Cross-Functional Collaboration with RTL and DFT teams
- Independent Convergence from RTL to GDSII
- Experience handling DRC/LVS, IR drop, and timing violations
