Job Summary
Develop and optimize existing Laravel-based systems while conceiving and implementing new features and applications. Lead code reviews to ensure quality, actively shape technical concepts and architectures, and systematically reduce technical debt. Collaborate closely with product management and the development team to maintain high standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance. Requires at least five years of PHP and Laravel experience, proficiency with PHPUnit and Pest, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Salary range 60,000–75,000 € gross/year; hybrid model with home office options available at the Dortmund office.
Required Qualifications
- Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung oder ein Studium im Bereich Informatik, Mathematik oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung – oder eine gleichwertige praktische Erfahrung
- Mindestens 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der PHP- und Laravel-Entwicklung
- Sehr gute Kenntnisse in objektorientierter Programmierung und Web-Architekturen
- Erfahrung in der Weiterentwicklung langlebiger, produktiver Webanwendungen
- Strukturierte, qualitätsbewusste Arbeitsweise sowie Teamfähigkeit und Eigenverantwortung
- Erfahrung mit automatisierten Tests im PHP-/Laravel-Umfeld (z. B. PHPUnit, Pest)
- Verständnis für CI/CD-Pipelines und strukturierte Deployment-Prozesse
- Sicherer Umgang mit Versionskontrolle (Git) und modernen Entwicklungs-Workflows
- Hohes Bewusstsein für Code-Qualität, Wartbarkeit und Performance
