Job Summary
Maintain legacy CakePHP 2 APIs and develop new microservices using API Platform and Symfony. Write unit and Behat tests to ensure code quality while collaborating within an agile SCRUM environment. Deploy and monitor applications using Docker and Google Cloud Platform, managing PostgreSQL databases and Pub/Sub messaging services. Requires 4+ years of PHP experience with frameworks like Symfony and API Platform. Fully remote role with flexibility and a direct interview process involving the CEO or CTO.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4 years of professional experience as PHP Developer
- Strong experience with PHP 8.3 and modern PHP frameworks (Symfony, API Platform)
- Experience maintaining legacy codebases
- Familiarity with Docker, GCP, and microservice architecture
- Proficient with PostgreSQL and Pub/Sub
- Experience writing unit tests and Behat tests
- Good understanding of agile/SCRUM development practices
