Job Summary
Serve as a dedicated Philanthropic Advisor for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients, meeting their philanthropic planning, wealth planning, estate planning, and wealth transfer needs. Develop and expand relationships with private foundations, endowments, planned giving programs, and other charitable entities within a defined geographic territory. This role requires substantial travel to provide services across the region and demands an established professional network in the local market. Candidates must possess 10+ years of functional experience, ideally from consulting, accounting, or legal firms, along with designations such as JD, MBA, CPA, or CAP. The position offers a salary range of $134,280.00 - $164,120.00 and includes comprehensive benefits including healthcare, 401(k), and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- 10 or more years of functional experience (recent consulting, accounting or legal experience with a major law or accounting firm or corporate fiduciary or nonprofit organization)
- Professional designation that may include, but is not limited to: JD, MBA, CPA, CTFA, CFP, Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP), Certified 2164 Trainer, and/or Graduate of National Trust School Program
- Must have an established professional network in the local and/or regional market
- This role has potentially substantial travel requirements, due to providing services within a defined geographic territory
Desired Qualifications
- Broad knowledge of the philanthropic, fiduciary, tax and estate planning disciplines
- Experience drafting or reviewing charitable, estate, business or other planning documents for clients with net worth exceeding $10 million
- Well-developed communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Deep tact, diplomacy and people skills
