Job Summary
Provide moves management to a portfolio of 100-125 current and prospective donors, securing gifts ranging from $100K to $1M+. Achieve fundraising goals while ensuring prospect pipeline growth, managing gifts independently at the $100K to $500K level and partnering with the AVP on $1M+ principal gift strategies. Develop relationships with high-net-worth individuals, identify planned giving opportunities, and utilize portfolio data to inform fundraising decisions. Requires 8+ years of major gifts experience, proficiency in Salesforce, and ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately 8+ years of relevant major gifts fundraising experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to utilize data to inform fundraising strategy
- Proficient with Salesforce or similar CRM
- Demonstrated track record of securing gifts at the $500K+ level and executing principal gift strategies
- Experience in a large, matrixed organization
- Understanding of and comfort discussing science terminology and research, along with the ability to effectively convey the organization to donors
- Ability to travel as needed, up to 40% of the time
