Senior Pharmacovigilance Specialist, case processing

Job Summary
Oversee and perform daily case processing of adverse event cases, including coding using MedDRA, determining seriousness and expectedness, and creating case narratives. Conduct case follow-up activities, provide client notifications, and perform Health Care Professional reviews. Execute peer reviews for quality and accuracy, highlight discrepancies to management, and mentor less experienced staff. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global safety regulations and contribute to training materials. Requires a Bachelor's degree in life sciences, three years of related experience, and working knowledge of PV systems like Oracle Argus Safety. This role supports ProPharma's advise-build-operate model across the product lifecycle for biotech and pharmaceutical clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences
- Three years of related work experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Pharmacovigilance
- Working knowledge of PV Systems, such as Oracle Argus Safety, ARISg, or other safety databases
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Intermediate project management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills
- Able to multitask
- Acquire and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of global safety regulations for medicines
