Job Summary
Manage major and complex Personal Lines claims from cradle to grave, assessing damage and quantum while setting and maintaining accurate reserves. Conduct thorough investigations, secure supporting documentation, and exercise sound judgement to reach fair claim resolutions in line with policy terms and relevant legislation. Build strong relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders to promote confidence in claims service, while controlling external costs and identifying fraud opportunities. Maintain effective diary management to ensure timely file progression and compliance with the General Insurance Code of Practice and statutory obligations. Mentor team members and seek technical support for claims exceeding delegated authority. This senior position offers exposure to broader claims business areas within a global leader in insurance.
