Job Summary

Create a consistent, exceptional customer experience in the branch with a specialty focus on home borrowing advice and Real Estate Secured Lending products. Ask thoughtful questions to uncover customer needs, owning solutions that align to mandate or bringing in an expert for needs outside your capability. Act as a subject matter expert in the branch for both customers and colleagues regarding all products, services, policies, and procedures of TD. Maintain a professional and inviting space in all common areas of the branch while consistently engaging in proactive customer outreach via phone and email to discuss portfolio updates and additional opportunities. Ensure documentation is accurate, properly reflects intentions, and is retained in accordance with business policies. Participate fully as a team member to support a positive work environment and contribute to business objectives by attracting, acquiring, and retaining customers to drive growth.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma
  • Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree (in a related field) preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) accreditation or equivalent within 90 days of start date
  • Certificate in Financial Services Advice (CFSA) within 6 months of start date
  • Mobility within the Assigned District
  • Geographic relocation to another TD location within your assigned region

Desired Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge and expertise of the Real Estate Secured Lending products
  • In-depth knowledge of investing, day-to-day banking, and all other TDCT products and services
  • Passion for connecting personally with customers to assist them in achieving their financial goals
  • Love for exploring and understanding investment options that best suit customers' financial needs
  • Ability to demonstrate subject matter expertise in providing sound financial planning advice
  • Ability to promote customer loyalty and investment returns
  • Ability to create a consistent and exceptional customer experience in the branch
  • Ability to ask thoughtful questions to uncover and understand Customer needs
  • Ability to own solutions that align to mandate
  • Ability to bring in an expert for needs outside of capability
  • Ability to improve customer financial confidence through ongoing dialogue
  • Ability to act as a subject matter expert in the branch for both customers and colleagues regarding all products, services, policies, and procedures of TD
  • Ability to maintain a professional and inviting space in all common areas of the branch
  • Ability to adhere to premises, marketing, and/or regulatory guidelines
  • Ability to engage in proactive customer outreach (via phone, email, etc.)
  • Ability to be present in the community for additional customer outreach
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the local market, competitive offers, and economic trends
  • Ability to ensure documentation that is prepared and completed is accurate
  • Ability to retain documentation in accordance with business policies and procedures
  • Ability to participate fully as a member of the team
  • Ability to support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork
  • Ability to ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest
