Job Summary
Senior Personal Banker – Investing builds and maintains long-term client relationships by delivering personalized investment advice to help clients grow their wealth. The role involves staying current on market trends and TD programs, identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships (including referrals to One TD partners for investing and lending), and simplifying processes for colleagues and clients. The position requires a client-focused mindset, problem-solving and communication skills, adherence to regulatory standards, and the ability to work a rotation across branch hours. The incumbent serves as the branch expert in investment guidance, providing sound financial planning, and ensuring clients leave with a clear plan to meet their goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma (Must-have)
- Investment Funds Canada (IFC) or equivalent accreditation
- Certificate in Financial Services Advice (CFSA) - FPI & PFSA, or equivalent
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in financial services managing client relationships and providing financial advice/investment solutions
- Deep knowledge of investment products and services (Mutual funds, GICs, RRSP, market growth)
- In-depth knowledge of RESL, day-to-day banking and TD products/services
- Strong regulatory, AML, and compliance knowledge
- Ability to engage in client outreach and community presence to acquire assets and deepen relationships
- Flexibility to work a rotation across branch hours
- Nice-to-have post-secondary degree or related field and other accreditations (e.g., Financial Planning II)
