Job Summary
Senior Performance Test Engineer designs, scripts, configures, and runs performance tests to validate production readiness of software applications and infrastructure; contributes to performance testing artefacts (strategy, test plans, estimates), configures test data for realistic scenarios, works with JMeter and performance tools (AppDynamics, Fiddler) to identify issues, collaborates with development/architecture to troubleshoot bottlenecks, operates in an Agile/Scrum setting, and provides mentorship on performance engineering and automation frameworks; emphasizes creating high-quality deliverables and proposing innovative solutions to business problems.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years experience as a Performance Test Engineer
- Experience with JMeter, API Testing, Database concepts
- Strong knowledge of AppDynamics and performance testing tools (Apache JMeter, WebLOAD, etc)
- Experience generating software performance reports and analyzing results
- Profiling and identifying end-to-end performance bottlenecks
- CI/CD pipeline experience
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, OOP, and databases
- Experience mentoring on performance engineering/automation frameworks
- Knowledge of performance testing in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Experience with performance testing artefacts, strategy, plans/estimates
