Job Summary
Collaborate with clients to define performance testing objectives and design, develop, and execute load, stress, and scalability tests using Gatling. Analyze application behavior under varying conditions to identify bottlenecks, while utilizing Datadog, Splunk, and Prometheus to track metrics. Support database performance optimization for MySQL by identifying slow queries and conduct API performance testing via RESTful methods. Work within CI/CD environments using Jenkins and Git/GitHub to automate processes and contribute to test automation initiatives. Communicate test results and recommendations to stakeholders while driving process evolution for new architectures.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in performance testing and analysis in complex application environments
- Understanding of application architecture and performance-related requirements
- Familiarity with performance engineering tools and scripting (e.g., Gatling, or similar)
- Knowledge of API testing methods and tools
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools
- Experience with SQL databases and performance monitoring (MySQL or similar)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in team settings
