Job Summary
Develop and configure Workday business processes, including approval chains and rules, while providing complex troubleshooting and second-line support as a subject matter expert across multiple SKUs. Create advanced reports and calculated fields to deliver meaningful insights, manage security and access audits, and lead release planning, testing, and implementation. Support integrations with SAP and other systems, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and mentor colleagues within the People Systems team. Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective solutions.
Required Qualifications
- substantial experience of complex Workday development and configuration
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions
- knowledge and experience in one or more of the Workday SKU's we currently have live, including: Time Off & Absence, Time Recording / Overtime, Learning, Talent, Performance, Expenses, Organisational Management, Benefits, Compensation / Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Workday Extend
- Strong Workday Advanced Reporting skills, including experience creating complex reports and calculated fields
- Experience of integrations between Workday and SAP or other third-party systems
- Experience of Workday business process design and configuration
- Experience of Workday release management
- Experience of Workday security and access management
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience of working within a People/HR environment and a good understanding of HR processes
- Experience of Workday Extend
Desired Qualifications
- Specific knowledge of one or more of these Workday areas is preferred
- Experience of Workday business process design and configuration
- Experience of Workday release management
- Experience of Workday security and access management
- Experience of Workday Extend would be advantageous
