Job Summary
Senior People Partner (Employee Focus) lead strategic HR partnering for senior leaders across The Smith Family. Drive workforce planning, capability development, and succession planning; coach leaders through complex employee relations matters; guide change and transformation; manage a small team (2x People Partner, 1x Generalist) within a national not-for-profit with a distributed workforce. Hybrid role based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane, partnering across the organisation to align people strategies with organisational priorities and ensure wellbeing and inclusive culture.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive senior HR partnering experience
- Core generalist capability (employee lifecycle management, ER and case management)
- Experience advising senior leaders
- Stakeholder advisory
- Strategic workforce planning and capability development
- Organisational change and design experience
- Knowledge of employment law, ER/IR, and WHS
- Strong stakeholder engagement at senior leadership level
- Experience in complex, geo-dispersed workforces
- Desirable experience in education, community services or not-for-profit sectors
