Job Summary
Senior People Operations Partner to own end-to-end People Ops programs across onboarding, offboarding, leave management, and employee data management; lead or support the delivery of programs such as performance cycles, compensation reviews, promotions, and engagement initiatives; collaborate with Payroll, Finance, Legal, and IT to ensure smooth operations; identify gaps in the employee experience and propose practical solutions; ensure programs align with Canadian/US employment legislation; leverage AI tools to automate HR workflows while maintaining a human-centric approach; act as a subject-matter expert for HRIS and People tools (e.g., HiBob, CompAnalyst); prepare reports to support decision-making; remote-first role open to candidates located in Canada.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or a similar role
- Experience working with HRIS platforms and People systems
- Experience leading organizational wide initiatives, change management and proactively contributing to strategic direction
- Experience driving adoption of new technologies, including AI tools, across teams
- A calm, empathetic approach to employee support
- A mindset of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement
- Experience supporting a remote-first or distributed workforce
