Senior People Operations Coordinator - Immigration and Global Mobility

Job Summary
Serve as the primary point of contact for all immigration-related inquiries from employees, managers, and People Operations team members. Assess employee immigration needs, prepare and review applications and petitions for accuracy, and manage case progress to ensure timely filing and adherence to deadlines. Coordinate with external legal counsel on complex matters, maintain accurate employee immigration files, and develop internal training materials on immigration policies. Manage the company's international travel program by partnering with Finance and Enterprise Services to develop policies, provide guidance on work authorization requirements, and monitor travel for compliance with reporting standards. Conduct internal audits to support compliance efforts and assist with onboarding for foreign national employees. This role ensures seamless integration of immigration and travel processes with recruitment, benefits, and HR operations within Latitude AI's People Operations team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 4+ years of relevant experience in immigration law or Human Resources, with a focus on immigration and international travel
- Knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and procedures, specifically as they relate to employment-based immigration
- Experience preparing and filing various immigration applications and petitions (e.g., H-1B, O-1, TN, PERM)
- Experience managing an international travel program
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with external legal counsel on immigration matters
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations, identify problems, and develop effective solutions
- Candidates for positions with Latitude AI must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis
- Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire
Desired Qualifications
