Job Summary
Partner with senior operational leaders to develop and deliver people strategies that drive business performance, engagement, and organisational effectiveness. Lead organisational change initiatives including restructures, TUPE transfers, consultations, and redundancy programmes while ensuring compliance and a positive colleague experience. Influence and challenge senior stakeholders to make effective people decisions that align with both business objectives and company values. Lead and support cross-functional projects that enhance employee experience, improve engagement, and strengthen organisational capability across multiple sites. Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, balancing commercial outcomes with risk management. Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly, balancing multiple projects and stakeholder demands simultaneously. This 12-month fixed-term contract offers a salary of £65,000-£70,000 with a hybrid working model.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience developing and delivering strategic People Plans that align with business objectives and drive organisational performance.
- Strong track record of leading complex organisational change, transformation and organisational design initiatives within fast-paced environments.
- Extensive experience managing employee relations programmes, including TUPE transfers, restructures, consultations and redundancy processes, ensuring both compliance and a positive colleague experience.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility, challenge constructively and partner effectively with senior leaders across the business.
- Previous experience operating within logistics, transport, manufacturing or other operationally-focused, multi-site environments.
- Confident navigating ambiguity and complexity, balancing strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to delivery.
