Job Summary
Senior People Analyst role partnering with the People function to deliver data-driven insights from workforce data. You’ll combine strong technical expertise with a commercial mindset, using data to uncover trends, improve processes and influence workforce decisions. Key duties include using advanced SQL to extract, transform and analyse workforce data to deliver actionable insights; partnering with People Business Partners to identify trends and opportunities; developing and delivering standard and ad-hoc dashboards (e.g., workforce profile, leave, diversity metrics); contributing to a modern, scalable analytics environment with opportunities for process improvements and automation; ensuring data governance, quality, privacy and compliance; and working across stakeholders to enhance data capability. Hybrid working arrangement in Sydney or Melbourne, Australia, on a fixed-term contract until July 2027.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in People / HR analytics or a similar data-focused role
- Advanced SQL capability with large/complex datasets
- Experience delivering insights using Power BI, Excel, Workday and Alteryx
- Stakeholder engagement and influence across People and wider business
- Understanding of data governance, data quality and risk considerations
