Job Summary
Senior Transitions Consultant to onboard Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) business, develop scheme-specific transition plans, analyse scheme benefits and data to support drafting of legal agreements, perform first-line peer reviews for accuracy of benefit specifications and data, own end-to-end progress of allocated schemes, assist with new business origination and transition management by advising on administration capabilities and site visits to assess data quality, maintain complete audit trails across onboarding lifecycle, contribute to continuous improvement with management information and insights, and ensure customers receive tailored communications for fair outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Pensions qualification such as CII, PMI, or demonstrable equivalent experience
- In-depth knowledge of DB pension regulations, including schemes undergoing de-risking
- Demonstrable understanding of Defined Benefit scheme structures and administration
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritise workload effectively
- Strong risk awareness, including being able to proactively identifying and mitigate risks to the team and business
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with hands-on project experience being highly advantageous
- A clear and professional communication style, that can be tailored to both internal and external stakeholders; including policyholders, members, regulators, third parties, and colleagues
