Job Summary
Senior Pension Analyst responsible for delivering high-quality pension administration services to multiple clients, processing pension events (retirement, termination, death, relationship breakdown, etc.), maintaining client databases, and mentoring analysts. The role includes quality assurance of work, regulatory compliance (AIR and pension adjustments such as PA, PAR, PSPA), handling client inquiries, and presenting solutions to consultants. It also covers project management for new business implementations, identifying process improvements, and contributing to team efforts. Key skills include strong mathematical/analytical abilities, data interpretation, effective written and verbal communication, advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to work both independently and within a team. Preference for French language proficiency and completion of a cleared background check; CEBS coursework is considered an asset.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum seven (7) years of relevant work experience in the pension field
- Coursework toward the CEBS designation is highly desirable
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
- French proficiency preferred
- Successful completion of a cleared criminal background check required
