Job Summary
Senior PCB Designer II needed to perform complex mixed-signal PCB layout in Altium Designer for aerospace applications, including 30 GHz RF, power, and digital content on the same board. Responsibilities include generating and revising drawings and release packages for PCBs and assemblies, managing electronic component libraries in Altium Enterprise, generating and reviewing schematic symbols and footprints, maintaining templates for schematics, layouts, and BOMs, and collaborating with hardware and mechanical engineers to ensure high-quality layouts under deadlines. Must have an Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or similar, 7 years of PCB design experience, strong Altium Designer skills, experience with high-reliability aerospace IPC Class 3 designs, and familiarity with advanced PCB manufacturing techniques such as blind vias and microvias. Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills desired. This role is full-time with a focus on hands-on design and collaboration in a startup-like environment. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. per regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or similar
- 7 years of experience as a PCB Designer
- Strong experience with Altium Designer
- Strong understanding of PCB layout principles
- Experience with high-reliability, aerospace, and/or IPC Class 3 designs
- Experience with blind vias and microvias
