Job Summary
Senior PCB Design Engineer (ENG5723) responsible for the design and development of multilayer PCB and substrate layouts, ensuring signal integrity and manufacturability; coordinates and leads projects between lab, customer input, purchasing, prototype development and production; develops and documents designs for prototype and production builds; requires BS in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years PCB/layout experience; proficient with PCB CAD tools (Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro/OrCAD, Siemens Xpedition, KiCad); IPC CID/CID+ certification preferred; travel up to 10%; strong data presentation and writing skills; able to work in a clean room and fast-paced lab environment.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of PCB design experience
- Proficiency with PCB CAD tools (Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro/OrCAD, Siemens Xpedition, KiCad)
- Experience with signal integrity and high-speed design
- Understanding of IPC standards (IPC-2221, IPC-7351)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced lab environment, travel up to 10%
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and design reviews
- US person for export control compliance (ITAR/EAR)
