Job Summary
Senior PCB Design Engineer responsible for designing and developing new or modified products using technical research, DOE, simulations, and documentation to support prototype and production builds. Supports PCB layout and substrate/package design for advanced electronic products, develops multilayer PCB/substrate layouts with emphasis on signal integrity and manufacturability, and delivers complete documentation. Coordinates with mechanical, purchasing, and production teams; leads project-level activities; evaluates designs against package costs and performance trade-offs; performs experiments and analyzes results; requires strong communication and presentation skills; travel up to 10%.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- minimum of 5+ years of PCB or substructure / layout or related experience
- Proficiency in PCB CAD tools (Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro/OrCAD, Siemens Xpedition, or KiCad)
