Senior PCA Reviewer / National Client Manager - Equity Services

$110,000–$135,000 year

Job Summary

Manage large national accounts by building direct client relationships through servicing and in-person meetings, serving as the primary engineering or architectural lead for top clients. Maintain a technical review load while delegating reviews to support staff, ensuring all projects are staffed, performed to high standards of quality, and delivered on time. Manage Building Assessment projects completed by associate consultants, ensuring they meet client goals and scope expectations. Provide training and mentoring to junior staff while facilitating the delivery of consulting to meet specific client needs.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience and knowledge in performing and reviewing various consulting projects focused on commercial real estate
  • understanding of commercial real estate lending and finance
  • superior writing, report review, time management, and organizational skills
  • Previous experience performing Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) and assessing buildings utilizing comprehensive engineering/architectural practices
  • Knowledge and experience assessing various property types (including but not limited to commercial buildings, manufacturing/industrial properties, office buildings from one story to high-rise, strip malls, shopping centers, and multi-family housing properties)
  • Experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, or HUD guidelines and Property Needs Assessments
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Personable and able to communicate with people at all levels
  • Willingness to travel if necessary
  • Must be a self-starter, resourceful, and have the ability to work productively and independently on multiple projects at a time under strict deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Significant design and/or construction experience
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or construction management
  • Certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA)
  • The employee may occasionally be required to stand, walk, balance, kneel or crouch
  • The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to focus

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience performing and reviewing Equity projects
  • Experience in construction management
  • Experience with managing various vendors and sub-contractors
  • Bidding and project cost estimation experience
  • Certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA)
