Senior Payroll Specialist with Spanish

Job Summary
Communicate with external payroll vendors to deliver and control payroll data for 6,000 employees across EMEA, ensuring outputs meet company standards and compliance. Perform and oversee payroll services, verifying documentation, declarations, and reports for authorities while addressing client inquiries and resolving issues related to outsourced services. Manage data integrity in Workday, maintain efficiency during peak periods, and identify automation opportunities. Report to the EMEA Payroll Team Lead in a hybrid role in Katowice, Poland, with mandatory on-site days on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Spanish at a very good level is required, with Polish and English at a professional level.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience
- Demonstrated openness to adopting new technologies, including automation tools
- Knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and statutory requirements
- Spanish at very good level
- Polish and English at professional level (speaking and writing)
- Hybrid work in Katowice, Poland
- Work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and statutory requirements (Spanish legislation will be an asset)
- Previous payroll experience
- Shared services experience
- Any of additional language (especially Danish, Dutch, Italian or other European language) will be an asset
- Knowledge of Power BI and Power Query
