Job Summary

Manage the accurate processing of active payroll and final settlement, including coordinating operational activities, handling escalations, and performing maker-checker validations from gross to net. Supervise entry to mid-level roles in transactional and high-complexity tasks to ensure timely completion, quality, and compliance of payroll information. Help define enterprise-wide standards for financial controls, guide others on technical aspects of Workday payroll processing, and resolve nonstandard escalations while mitigating regulatory risks. Collaborate with peers, vendors, and product teams to address concerns and determine appropriate courses of action for large-scale payroll volume operations.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: HR Operations, Accounting, Payroll, Payroll Tax, Compliance
  • Experience in India
  • End-to-End Payroll Operations
  • final settlement preparation
  • Payroll Statutory compliance (Income tax, PF, PT, ESIC, LWF, NPS, Gratuity, Stat bonus, etc.)
  • Preparing Monthly Payroll inputs
  • validate the same via maker checker process
  • 100% of Payroll output validation from Gross to net for active employees
  • final settlement (including statutory deductions)
  • Preparing payroll related MIS reports like CTC variance, head count, pay revision and quality reports
  • Experience in Onboarding process for new joiners
  • statutory enrolments
  • new hire form filling
  • Validation
  • Good knowledge of Statutory outputs reports validation & returns filing (Income Tax, PF, PT, ESIC, LWF, NPS, Gratuity, Stat Bonus., etc.)
  • Good knowledge of India tax and labour laws
  • Good Knowledge of 24Q filing
  • Form 16 preparation
  • Basic GL accounting knowledge
  • Good Knowledge of SAP/Global View Payroll Administration
  • reconciliation of FBP reimbursements
  • Good Knowledge of RSR, RSU, ESPP and ESOP process
  • Experience in Internal/External Payroll/Full and Final Settlement/Statutory Audits
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Medium to Advance MS Office skills
  • data entry skills
  • Experience in working with prominent industry ERP tools eg. Workday, PeopleSoft, ServiceNow SAP, and ADP Global View
  • Must be able to adapt to change well
