Senior Payroll Specialist

Job Summary
Manage the full monthly payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across Switzerland and abroad entities. Process payroll inputs including variable elements and absences, perform controls and reconciliations, and handle accounting entries for monthly and annual closings. Act as the main point of contact for payroll queries while supervising validation of processes with local HR partners and providers. Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive automation initiatives to increase efficiency. Contribute to salary benchmarking, design compensation structures, and manage ad hoc elements like bonuses and equity. Monitor budgets and prepare regular dashboards on headcount and compensation costs to support decision-making. Requires 5+ years of experience with strong knowledge of Swiss labor laws and payroll systems.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in payroll, ideally in an international or fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, accounting principles, and compliance
- Strong knowledge of Swiss payroll and Swiss labor laws & regulations
- Experience with payroll systems and HRIS
- Solid analytical skills with strong attention to detail

- Genuine interest in Compensation & Benefits topics and a willingness to develop expertise in this area
- Exposure to Compensation & Benefits topics (benchmarking, salary structures, bonus schemes) is a strong plus
