Job Summary
Administer and oversee full-cycle payroll for all Operating Companies within the assigned region, reviewing submissions for accuracy in hours, earnings, deductions, and taxes. Set up new and acquired entities in ADP WorkforceNow, including company codes, pay groups, and GL mapping, while coordinating tax setups for new states and supporting first-live payroll. Reconcile payroll registers to funding and GL exports, manage reversals and retroactive adjustments, and perform periodic audits to remediate findings. Generate labor cost reports for leadership, lead quarterly and year-end tax balancing, and train OpCo contacts on SOPs and ADP best practices. Serve as the regional subject matter expert to resolve payroll discrepancies and drive standardization across the region.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field
- 3–5 years of payroll experience
- Well-versed in ADP WorkforceNow
- Strong knowledge of wage and hour laws, payroll tax regulations, and compliance requirements (including quarter/year-end and W-2/W-2c)
- Advanced proficiency with Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to create SOPs and train others on processes and procedures
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods while working at a computer
- Ability to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday as needed
- Ability to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 20 pounds
- Ability to move throughout the office and access various departments, meeting rooms, storage areas, and shared spaces as needed
- Regular in-person attendance Monday through Thursday
