Job Summary
Troubleshoot payroll issues including missing payments, retro payments, and pay rate changes to ensure accurate and timely resolutions. Input payroll adjustments, process benefit-related payments, and run Kronos audit reports to maintain data integrity and correct inconsistencies. Ensure timecards are coded correctly, create Workday reports for data analysis, and respond promptly to inquiries from employees and business leaders. Support the Payroll Manager with project work and identify process improvements within the Payroll COE. Assist with high-level transaction processing in a flexible work environment featuring two days of remote work and three days on-site in Louisville, KY.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience in payroll processing and/or administrative responsibilities
- Experience using Kronos and Workday; or similar payroll system
- Proven analytical skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented
- Commitment to process ownership
- Must be able to work from home 2 days per week
- Must be present at headquarters in Louisville, KY for the remaining 3 days each week
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous high-level transaction processing experience
