Job Summary
Senior Payroll Manager responsible for leading multi-country payroll operations, overseeing both insourced and outsourced payroll, and ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processes across countries. Drive standardization of payroll processes, controls, checklists, and documentation; support local teams in understanding the financial impact of payroll (journal entries, balance sheet items, accruals); ensure alignment with global policies and local regulations; collaborate with HR, Finance, Tax, Internal Control, and external vendors; monitor data quality, governance, and payroll reconciliations; identify risks and drive process improvements, including automation and smarter ways of working; travel to local offices to train and align local teams; experience with ADP GlobalView, SAP Payroll, and strong English communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in payroll within an international, complex and preferably fast-growing environment
- Proven experience in leading, coaching, and developing teams
- Strong expertise in managing multi-country payroll operations
- Solid knowledge of both in-house and outsourced payroll models
- In-depth understanding of payroll taxes, social security, pensions, and statutory compliance requirements
- Experience with ADP GlobalView, SAP Payroll, or similar payroll systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills, with the ability to focus on business-critical topics
- Hands-on, accurate, and ownership-driven approach, combined with a continuous improvement mindset
- Strong stakeholder management skills and excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Advanced Excel skills, with a strong affinity for automation and AI tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT
