Job Summary
Senior Payroll Specialist for India with end-to-end ownership of India payroll, statutory compliance, and interaction with Employee Experience and global payroll. The role involves accuracy of payroll inputs, reconciliations, audit support, and collaboration across finance and HR teams; responsibilities span India payroll processing, statutory filings, year-end activities, and cross-jurisdiction payroll support using UKG OneView, with an AI-first mindset to drive automation and improved workflows. Desired profile includes 8–10+ years of India payroll experience, proficiency with UKG OneView or similar platforms, strong communication, data integrity, and comfort with AI tools; a payroll-related certificate is an asset.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of hands-on India payroll experience including statutory compliance and TDS management
- Strong working knowledge of UKG OneView (Immedis) or comparable global payroll platforms; UKG OneView experience strongly preferred
- Self-directed and confident handling of complex matters independently
- Strong communicator able to explain complex payroll and tax matters clearly to employees
- Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day work and interested in exploring new capabilities
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and Google Workspace
- A University, College and/or Post Graduate Certificate in Payroll and/or Business Administration or a related field would be considered an asset
