Senior Payroll Analyst

Job Summary
Lead end-to-end processing of semi-monthly payroll for a multi-state employee population, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Perform advanced audits, reconciliations, and variance analyses to identify discrepancies, while serving as the primary subject matter expert for complex tax issues, system configurations, and compliance inquiries. Analyze payroll data and trends to provide actionable insights to leadership, manage system enhancements and process improvements, and develop dashboards to support decision-making. Partner with HR, Finance, and Accounting teams on accruals, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end close activities, reviewing transactions for new hires, terminations, and bonuses. Mentor junior team members and ensure adherence to wage and hour laws, ACA reporting, and internal controls.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive payroll experience
