Senior Payments Product Manager

Job Summary
Senior Payments Product Manager to own end-to-end checkout experience, improve authorization rates, reduce processing costs, drive payments strategy and roadmap, manage data/experimentation, ensure quality and reliability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include optimizing checkout UX, SCA/3DS strategies, tokenization, dunning, introducing new payment methods by country, coordinating with PSPs/gateways, monitoring SLAs and refunds/chargebacks, and leading data-driven experiments. Requires extensive experience in scalable payment systems, strong UX and conversion focus, leadership of small agile teams, and comfort working in an AI-enabled, fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Senior-level experience in product management for payments
- at least 7 years of experience as a Product Manager
- 4+ years in a startup or fast-growing company
- hands-on experience with payment flows at scale (checkout, routing, PSPs, tokens, 3DS/SCA, refunds/chargebacks, reconciliation)
- strong UX skills and customer-centric focus
- data-driven optimization skills (A/B testing, dashboards)
- ability to lead cross-functional teams (Design, Engineering, Finance, Legal/Compliance, Risk/Fraud, Support, Growth)
- excellent communication and stakeholder management
- experience leading small agile teams
- ability to work in an office environment most days
- curiosity and willingness to learn about AI
